Hi! I’m Andrew.
I graduated from Whitman College with a degree in Economics and Math. Subsequently I worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs until the end of 2009. After escaping with my soul intact, I worked for Golden Helix as a Software Developer and Product Manager. I received Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 2016. Currently, I’m a Product Manager at Zymergen helping to lead the development of a new generation of computational biology tools focused on genetic engineering. I’m also an active contributor to the Global Alliance for Global Health.
I now live in Berkeley, CA and try to escape the madness of the city by sailing on the Bay or running on any of the nearby trails.
Previously, I used to ski 100 days a year when I lived in Bozeman, MT. I miss the mountains more everyday…
