About
Hi! I’m Andrew.
I graduated from Whitman College with a degree in Economics and Math. Subsequently I worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs until the end of 2009. After escaping with my soul intact, I worked for Golden Helix as a Software Developer and Product Manager. I received Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 2016. Currently, I’m a Software Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks helping to develop a new generation of computational biology tools focused on high-throughput genetic engineering.
I now live in San Francisco, CA and try to escape the madness of the city by sailing on the Bay or running in the amazing parks of this city.
Previously, I used to ski 100 days a year when I lived in Bozeman, MT. I miss the mountains more everyday…
